Grammar rules
We use who (or that in non-defining relative clauses) when the relative pronoun refers to people:
The boy who has just entered the room is her brother.
We are meeting two students who are from Peru.
We use which (or that in non-defining relative clauses) when the relative pronoun refers to things or objects:
He has a car which can seat seven adults.
She is looking for a solution which will make everybody happy.
We use whose to show possession or belonging. Whose can be used for both people and things. As a relative pronoun, whose is always used with a noun:
We know a girl whose father is an actor. (NOT: … whose is an actor.)
They contacted some companies whose prices were lower.
