Exercises - Object Pronouns and Possessive Determiners

Object pronouns such as me, us, them, etc. come after the verb and describe the object of the sentence. They replace a noun and always stand alone.

I like the boy.   →   I like him. (NOT: I like him boy. I like the him.)

Possessive determiners such as my, our, their, etc. express possession or belonging. They always come before a noun and cannot stand alone.

I like our car. (NOT: I like our.)

I like them. (Object pronoun)

I like their friends. (Possessive determiner)
